A Rose Is A Rose ...

The last few days have been . . . well . . . shall-we-say . . . very stressful! I won't go into details here but, . . . suffice it to say, I will not be using the phrase "what-else-could-go-wrong?" for fear of finding out.

I did receive a nice surprise, though, in the midst of all the turmoil. I was gifted with a dozen long-stemmed roses. And, not the usual red roses (which are not my favorite). The giver took the time and effort to choose my favorites:

Two Rust;
Two Apricot;
Two Peach;
Two Yellow;
Two Blush; and
Two Cream.

I hope that my blog will become more animated and uplifting in the days ahead . . .

For now, I'm back to work, work, work . . .
