Wake Me From This Dream
How do we know what is truly real, and what is merely an illusion? Life is a mystery, and no matter how much we attempt to analyze, to rationalize, or to justify our actions and reactions to the world around us, how can we be sure that we're reacting to reality instead of a dream-like illusion? Do we genuinely know the difference between being awake and being asleep? Could we be continually confusing the two? That vague, out-of-body feeling of deja vu that occurs all too often to simply explain away, those brief glimpses of movement in our peripheral vision that vanishes the moment we turn our heads to see who or what is there, those strong, unexplainable emotions that haunt us over time -- are these real? How can we rationalize all of the associated impulses that are bombarding our senses if they aren't real? current mood: Mystically-curious current music: Rain on the tin roof (c) 2004 A Southern Belle's Life I'm a Member of the: << # Bitch Club ? >> BlogRollin' other WebRing Members: Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Alabama Crimson Tide Football BlogHop.com!
