Makes Me Proud

It's stories like these that really make me proud to be . . . not only a Southerner but, in this instance, from Tennessee (once even living in Red Bank for about seven years -- it is a suburb of Chattanooga). And, TRUST ME!, the "proud" part was most definitely oozing with sarcasm!

Red Bank, Tennessee - Employer Spankings

You can fire your workers but you can't spank 'em. Authorities in Red Bank, Tennessee, have charged Paul Levengood with two counts of sexual battery. Police say two 19-year-old women complained that Levengood would spank them when they made mistakes on the job at Tasty Flavors Sno Biz. One of the women says Levengood made them sign a statement when they started working giving him permission to bust their "behind any way he sees fit." Levengood is now free on two-thousand-dollars bond.

One girl continued working for a year after the incident.     The other did not leave when it happened to her the first time because she "didn't have a ride home."     I think I'd start walkin'!

The update today is that Mr. Levengood (from Cleveland, TN) was released on bond and is now in the hospital due to a possible suicide attempt.     He is charged with two counts of sexual battery.     In addition to the spankings, he also took photos of their bums (not at the same time he was spanking them) -- perhaps "trophy" photos???
