Behind The Counter . . .

I ran a few errands today -- before the (usual) scattered afternoon thunderstorms began brewing -- of course, with the top down on the covertible, and the sun soaking into my bare skin . . .

On the way home, I stopped by the local wine & spirits for a bottle of red wine. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and the guy behind the counter turned to ask if he could assist me and, as I looked at him, I realized he looked exactly like Matt Damon. Not that I'm a Matt Damon fan (I'm not, really) but, it was still quite a surprise to be in the Deep South and see someone who is the exact physical replica behind the counter at my local wine & spirits shoppe. I told him what I was looking for, and he was quite helpful in picking out the perfect merlot for my needs. I wonder who else has a "twin" around town?

Anyone have BIG plans for the long 4th weekend?

Mine are still "up-in-the-air," as we have several offers on parties, events and such . . . I'm leaning toward a "Beach" concert on the Square tomorrow night but, otherwise, I anticipate attending a pool party or two, some fireworks events, and I'm keeping my options open in case an impromptu road trip materializes . . .
