Say What?!?!?

I just read an article called the Top 10 Business Buzzwords. Why do people seem to like to "verb" words? I guess that's how to catch the latest buzz, huh?

The words that made the Top-10 are:

Drive;
Incent;
Delayering;
Narcissurfing;
Deep dive;
Bleeding edge;
Offline;
Ping;
Al desko; and
Defrag.

and you can check out the detailed descriptions of each word in the article referenced above. I think organizations create their own "geek-speak" out of some ancient tribal need to bond with other tribesmen and keep the "outsiders" out.
